I am currently a full-time political science student/political science major enrolled in 17 units at Cypress College. I am running for College Board Trustee, RSCCD Area 7, because I believe that education is a human right and not privilege. I believe that education should be guaranteed to everyone at no cost. I also believe that Our Teachers Deserve Better. I refuse corporate donations for my campaign, so I can be free to fight for the voters. I am not for sale, and I cannot be bought by super wealthy donors. This is the people's campaign, People powered to power the people. Since I refuse donations from big corporations and their corporate lobbyists, I am free to deliver what I promise. I am a pro union, non-corporate, progressive democrat. I was raised in a union home, with a union family, with union values. My story has been recorded in a college reader. My research on climate change can be found in the first chapter. More about my life is mentioned in chapter 3 on page 73 of "Dollar Democracy on Steroids" by Professor Peter Mathews.
I Began my political science educational career at Cypress College in 2004.
I was the co-coordinator for "Rescue Education California" 2004-2005.
Field Operations Trainer for (VERF) Voter Education Registration Fund in Garden Grove, CA 2005-2006
I managed a congressional campaign for a candidate who also refuses corporate donations, "Peter Mathews for Congress" special election in 2006-2007.
I Ran for Fullerton City Council in the general election held on November 5, 2022.Â
Tried to raise money to run for congress/United States Representative for the primary election held on March 5, 2024.
I recently returned to Cypress College, after a 19-year absence, to finish my degree in Political Science. And transfer to CSU Fullerton to get my bachelor's in law. My comprehensive educational plan includes taking the bar exam to practice law.
